After a no sea day yesterday, we were so excited that we are all heading to the ocean. It is the first time for our new volunteers Eline, Pernille and myself!!
The perfect conditions for a great afternoon with the sharks : a bit windy but very sunny!
A few sharks were already playing around when we arrived at the spot. Everyone had the opportunity to dive twice in the very cold water (recorded at 11.8°C). We saw a total of 6 sharks!! 5 females and 1 male with the biggest one measuring more than 4 meters. Massive!!!
They were swimming so quietly and with so much confidence that we could see from the cage that great whites have no sea creature to be afraid of. Playing around with the bait, it looks like sharks had as much fun as we did!
As if our day hasn’t been incredible enough, we even saw a whale on our way back!!!Awwwesome! What a day!! Thank you White Shark Projects!!!
